We’ve rolled out Claude to everyone at The Orange Force. Every consultant now has an AI sparring partner to help them work more efficiently.
The thinking is simple: we’d rather solve complex problems for our clients than spend hours formatting documentation or digging through old project notes. Claude handles that kind of routine work, research, drafting, organizing information, so our consultants can focus on what actually matters: understanding the situation, making the right calls, and building solutions that work.
This isn’t about replacing anyone’s expertise. It’s about giving our team a tool that takes care of the repetitive stuff so they can do more of the high-value work. For our clients, that means faster delivery without cutting corners on quality.
Why Claude? The Power of Reasoning
At The Orange Force, we don’t pick tools off the shelf at random. We chose Claude because it aligns with the nuanced nature of industrial consultancy. Unlike other models, Claude offers a level of sophisticated reasoning and an intuitive interface that matches the way our consultants solve problems.
Furthermore, Claude’s “Constitutional” design means safety is baked into its core architecture. By utilizing the Claude Team plan, we ensure a secure environment where data is never used to train public models. For our clients, this means their intellectual property is protected by the same “Walled Garden” that empowers our innovation. This does not mean that we can use PII (Personal Identifiable Information) in prompts, but it does provide guardrails for model training.
The Sparring Partner: Custom Projects
Our consultants are no longer searching through static wikis. We are utilizing Claude Projects to create the ultimate “sparring partner.” By feeding our internal guidelines, Mendix best practices, and project-specific contexts into these secure silos, our consultants have a mentor that understands the deep nuance of our work.
This “Bridge” allows us to move from intent to execution faster. Our consultants have never been buried in code; they have always been close to the business. This AI-infusion allows them to stay there, focusing on solving the customer’s biggest challenges while the AI handles the technical “heavy lifting” of documentation synthesis.
Fostering a Culture of Talent and Innovation
We have always looked for the best talent in the market, but the “best” now requires a new set of skills. We are fostering a culture where AI literacy is a standard, enabling our consultants to perform at their highest potential.
This commitment to staying at the forefront is why we keep a close eye on the horizon. Our resident Mendix AI expert, Chendo, has already outlined the shift from “Builder to Conductor” in his 2026 Roadmap. We are hiring and training the talent needed to build that vision today. By providing an environment where experts are empowered by the most relevant tools, we ensure that The Orange Force remains the destination for those who want to lead the industry, not just follow it.
Looking Ahead: From Specs to “Vibe Coding”
We are currently investigating the next frontier: Spec-Driven Development (SDD). In this future-facing model, the consultant focuses on the “Spec” the high-level business logic and architecture, while tools like Claude Code assist in generating the functional building blocks.
This shift toward “vibe coding” isn’t about being casual; it’s about orchestration. It’s the difference between laying every brick by hand and being the architect who designs the skyscraper. While Claude Code may eventually generate everything from Java actions to entire modules, that is our horizon. Today, we are mastering the literacy needed to lead that charge.
Human Expertise: The Ultimate Guardrail
Despite the speed of AI, the consultant remains the heart of the machine. AI can hallucinate, but our Human-in-the-Loop protocol ensures quality. Every AI-generated solution is validated by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) before it ever reaches a client.
We aren’t looking for droids to do our work for us; we are building a force-multiplier for our team. We are liberating our consultants from repetitive tasks so they can spend their energy where it matters most: with our customers. After all, even with the best AI sparring partner in the galaxy, a consultant’s intuition is still the only way to ensure we have the high ground.
Sharing the Force: Community and Marketplace
We believe that innovation shouldn’t happen in a vacuum. A core part of our mission is sharing our findings with the wider community to help the entire industry level up. We do this by providing deep-dive insights through our blog posts and, more importantly, by contributing Marketplace modules designed to turbo-charge AI-infused applications. Our goal is to provide the building blocks that allow other teams to integrate advanced AI features into their Mendix apps with ease, accelerating the global shift toward more intelligent, value-driven software.
Coming Soon: The Art of the Prompt
Hungry for a deeper dive into the technical “how”? Keep an eye out for our upcoming post by Chendo. He’ll be pulling back the curtain on how he optimizes prompts and structures Claude Projects to maximize workforce efficiency. If you want to see how we turn raw AI potential into precision-engineered results, you won’t want to miss it.
Let’s Engineer Your Future Over Coffee
Innovation moves fast, but the best strategies are still built over a good conversation. Whether you’re a customer looking to future-proof your operations or a top-tier consultant ready to join a team that puts the best tools in your hands, we’d love to connect.
Let’s grab a cup of coffee and talk about how an AI-infused approach can transform your 2026 roadmap. No bots, no hallucinations, just real talk about the future of industrial consultancy.
