Mendix AI Unlocked: Build It, Break It, Secure It
AI is already part of how Mendix applications get built. Maia sits inside Studio Pro, teams reach for other AI tools alongside it, and work that used to fill a sprint now lands in an afternoon.
What gets talked about far less is what all of that means for the application itself, once it’s live and holding real data. So The Orange Force, Mendix and The S-Unit are running this afternoon together, with both halves of the story on one stage.
We built one Mendix application specifically for this event, and all three sessions put that same app on the screen.
Freek Brinkhuis, CTO at The Orange Force and a Mendix MVP, opens with how it got built. What AI makes possible in Mendix today, and what that changes for the teams doing the building.
Dirk van Veen, founder and lead hacker at The S-Unit, takes the attacker’s seat next. Same app, his hands on it, and he shows you what he finds when he goes looking for problems with creating with and managing AI inside applciations.
Eduard de Bruijn, Director Solution Architecture at Mendix, closes with where this goes next: the platform’s own view on AI, and what it means for the applications you build after today.
The afternoon is written for a senior audience, and covers both the strategic and the technical side. The latter onegets explained rather than assumed, so you’ll follow all three sessions without ever having opened Mendix or Studio Pro yourself.
Tuesday 27 October at De Werkspoorfabriek in Utrecht, in English, free to attend, and we have plenty of snacks and drinks.Â
Grab a free seat while one’s open, because we normally sell out!
